Highly Connected

The town benefits from excellent transport links and is easily accessed by car, bus or train.

Car

Just one mile east of town is the M90 the principal arterial route to the north for both commercial and tourist traffic - linking Dunfermline with Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, Inverness and the Highlands and Islands.

The extended Kingsgate will provide 711 on site car parking spaces at roof level.

Bus

A new £5 million bus station on Queen Anne Street is right alongside Kingsgate and is due to open in Spring 2008.

Rail

Dunfermline has two stations on the central Fife rail network, linking with the wider national rail network via Edinburgh's Waverley Station.
